The Straight Spouse Network provides support for the spouses and children of gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered individuals. It can be reached on the Web at http://www.ssnetwk.org or by telephone at (510) 525-0200.

After logging on to the Straight Spouse Network, click on “What We Do” in the left-hand scroll bar. Spouses’ support groups for the Washington, D.C. area are available in the “Mid-Atlantic” listing which can be found by clicking on the heading “United States Support Groups.” This heading is available at the bottom of the “What We Do” page.

The Straight Spouse Network also provides online support groups. To access them, click on “Online” under “Where We Are” in the left-hand scroll bar.
